The storage market is experiencing strong growth, and more and more homeowners are opting for a stand-alone energy supply solution, reports Klauspeter Bader, Managing Director of KATEK Memmingen GmbH. “The trend here is towards high-voltage electricity storage systems that deliver more power. We are therefore very pleased that we have gained experienced inverter experts for our new development area. Hybrid inverters have a good future and we not only want to produce them, but we also want to continue to be among the technology leaders for power electronics with our own developments.”

In the event of a power failure, the new generation of Steca hybrid inverters from KATEK Memmingen GmbH can disconnect a household from the grid within a very short time and switch over to islanding operation. This system solution ensures that the electricity storage unit can supply all three phases in the local grid so that all consumers can continue to operate seamlessly. The inverter technology is complemented by smart system components for the real-time measurement of energy consumption and a modern energy management module.
