The Steca TR 0603mc+ solar thermal controller is the clear next step in the development of its very successful predecessor, the TR 0603mc. In particular, the Ecodesign Directive (ErP) of the European Union has now been taken into account in order to be able to control solar thermal pumps with an EEI (energy efficiency index) of 0.23. These energy-efficient and high-efficiency pumps (HE pumps) are controlled using a special PWM control signal.

The modular controller concept is a special highlight. 40 pre-programmed equipment systems and numerous additional functions facilitate universal use of the controller right from the start. Depending on the individual requirements, the controller can then be expanded at any time with additional extension and heating circuit modules. The large graphic display shows animated control loops to visualise the operating states of the respective system. The Steca TR 0603mc+ has six inputs for temperature or pulse detection as well as an additional Grundfos Direct Sensors™ input for combined temperature and flow measurement. Three partially speed-controlled outputs are used to control high-efficiency pumps, conventional AC glandless pumps and switching valves.
