The Steca TR 0301 U controller was developed specifically for the North American market as a variant of the basic Steca TR 0301 controller. Special approval (ETL mark) via a testing laboratory recognised in the United States as an NRTL (Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory) means that the relevant safety standards and minimum requirements of the North American market have been met.

The special feature of the controller types from the Steca TR 0301 series is the graphically animated display, which are used to completely visualise the operating status and solar circuit of a solar system.

The clear display guarantees simple operation through the consistent use of pictograms. The design of the controller was created together with an internationally renowned design centre. The controller monitors and controls solar thermal systems with one collector array and one storage tank. The controller also takes over important system monitoring and safety functions, ensuring the continuous and safe operation of the entire system. The numerous additional functions of the Steca TR 0301 include the maximum storage tank temperature, a tube collector function, a frost protection function, a holiday or re-cooling function and the option of selecting the temperature display in degrees Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F). The operational safety of the system is supported by sophisticated fault diagnostics. Here, the multicoloured LCD backlighting ensures that any faults that have occurred can be found quickly and reliably, helping to rectify quickly any faults.

The Steca TR 0301 U controller is supplied with a pre-assembled US network cable and a pre-installed plug-in pump output.
